There is a difference between worrying and concern. It is ok to be concerned about something or someone, but it is not ok to worry. Worrying can lead to other things which can have a negative effect on a person, such as leading to sickness and depression; while concern can have a positive effect, leading a person to try to see the good within the bad. Because nothing lasts forever, there is no need to worry about anyone or anything; while being concerned can lead a person to pray, and receive instructions on what to do and how to do what is necessary, in order to make the situation better than what it is.
Matthew 6:27, 34 says “You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
