People come into the lives of others for reasons and seasons, and for blessings and lessons. If you don’t know the reason you are in a person’s life or they are in yours; you should pray and ask God to reveal the purpose to you, so that you will not miss the season. After the purpose is revealed, you should know if the person is a blessing to you, or a lesson that you should learn from, and likewise for you in the life of the other person.
1 Thessalonians 5:11, 14 & 15 says “Therefore, encourage each other and strengthen one another as you are doing. We encourage you, brothers and sisters, to instruct those who are not living right, cheer up those who are discouraged, help the weak, and be patient with everyone. Make sure that no one ever pays back one wrong with another wrong. Instead, always try to do what is good for each other and everyone else.”
Be blessed, be encouraged, and have a great day.

Is this a choice or the result of a choice?

Hi Carla,
I was only asking if being a blessing or a lesson was a matter of choice or the result of a choice.

Sean, l feel that if a person is a blessing to another person, it can be a choice of the individual or if it is an assignment from God, then the person does not have a choice in the matter unless they chose to disobey God.
The way an individual learns a lesson is that a person can learn the do’s and don’ts from another person by learning what to do and what not to do.
