Sometimes, in order to have peace you must separate yourself from a person or people for a period of time. It does not mean that you do not like the person or people. It only means that you are doing what is best at that moment. You may not even be the one in the wrong, but to prevent more confusion from arising, you must step back so that God can step in and work the situation out for everyone involved. It is always better to be a peace maker, and not a peace breaker; even if the other person or people may not understand or like it. If God allows it, let Him fix it, and fix the people involved in the situation because He knows everything that brought about the separation.
Genesis 13:8-9 says “Abram said to Lot, “There should be no arguing between you and me, or between your herdsmen and mine, because we are brothers. We should separate. The whole land is there in front of you. If you go to the left, I will go to the right. If you go to the right, I will go to the left.” (NCV)
Be blessed, be encouraged, and have a great day.
