There will be times when God will send people into your life to hold up your arms to strengthen you when you may feel weak or when you may feel like giving up. These individuals will be there to pray for you, encourage you, to lift you up, or to push you so that you can keep going. God does not always send us the people that we want, but He will always send us the people that we need. God knows who is capable of holding another person up because He knows those who have a true and pure heart, as well as a sincere prayer life. God always places people in the life of others for a reason.
Exodus 17:12 says “As long as Moses held his hands up, the Israelites would win the fight, but when Moses put his hands down, the Amalekites would win. Later, when Moses’ arms became tired, the men put a large rock under him, and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands; Aaron on one side and Hur on the other. They kept his hands steady until the sun went down. So Joshua defeated the Amalekites in this battle.” (NCV)
Be blessed, be encouraged, and have a great day.
