Do Your Part

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Whenever we see people who are innocent and in helpless situations, and cannot defend themself; God expects us to come to their defense. It could be a child, the elderly, someone who is disabled or someone who is being hurt, abused or mistreated. However the situation may be or whoever the person may be, we should never stand back and allow someone to abuse, misuse, mishandle or mistreat someone that cannot defend or protect themself. God holds us accountable for doing the right thing. Sometimes, the right thing is simply making a report to someone that can change the person’s situation.

Proverbs 31:8-9 says “Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Help people who are in trouble. Stand up for what you know is right, and judge all people fairly. Protect the rights of the poor and those who need help.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Uses Everyone To Be A Blessing In The Lives Of Others

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions & foolishness away.”

God blesses those who are a blessing to others. Where a person is today does not determine where the person will be on tomorrow. Today, it could very well be someone else in need of assistance from you in some kind of way, but tomorrow it could very well be you who may need the assistance of someone else. No one should ever think that they will be exempt from being in the place of needing a helping hand from others. Not receiving help whenever you are in need is a spirit of pride and also not giving help whenever you can is a spirit of pride and selfishness. Help may not always come through the person or people you may expect it to, but God will send it through the person or people through whom He chooses that He knows will get the job done. Whenever helping and receiving help from others, it does not always consist of giving money. There are many ways to give and assist someone who is in need. There are so many different ways in which God can use people to be a blessing in the life of others. We must be open and receptive to whatever God speaks to us to do in the lives of others, and we must also be ready, willing and available whenever God tells us to do something for someone, without excuse or hesitation.

Proverb 28:27 says “Whoever gives to the poor will have plenty. Whoever refuses to help them will get nothing but curses.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Have A Role To Play

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

God connects people in the lives of others for many reasons and also in different seasons. The reason is never about us and we never know when the season may suddenly change. The reason in which God does things is always much larger than what we can see, so that is why we should always be open and receptive to what God allows in each season of our life because God is always behind the scenes orchestrating by moving things around and bringing people together so that He may get the glory, as well as be glorified even though we may not be able to see what God is doing. God will make sure that everyone has a role to play, and no one is left out and so it is with a puzzle; there is a place for each piece to properly fit. You do not have to force puzzle pieces to connect together because once you figure out where each piece belongs, they will all connect smoothly and properly, and when the final puzzle piece is inserted, you will end up with a beautiful picture allowing you to be able to see the many details and structures that you could not see while God was strategically working behind the scenes. Always, remember you never have to force anything to make it work or come together. If one thing does not work; maybe that is not the right piece or person that was supposed to be a part of your life or journey at that particular time or season, or even in your life altogether. Instead of trying to force something to happen in your life, go back and pray about it and allow God to show you so that you will not get frustrated by trying to make something work that may not be of God. All things and everything of God have a way of coming together smoothly without having to be forced into place.

Romans 12:4-10 says “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” (NLT)

Help Is Available For Everyone

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when God will place people in your life who will need help; the need could be great or it could be small. Whatever the need may be, God will specifically assign the person to you just to see if you are going to help the person or if you are going to reject the person. God will never assign a person to your life if He knew you could not help, assist or meet the need of the individual. Today, it may be someone else who may be in need, but tomorrow it could easily be you. You should never think that you will not need the help of others or never be so close-minded by only going to certain people when you have a need. Neither should you try to choose only certain people to help by picking and choosing who you want to help because God can easily rearrange things, as well as remove things and people in and out of your life to show you that it is not about you or what you may have. When God connects people together, even for the purpose of helping or assisting, God has a reason for it and for everyone involved. God desires that no one miss their moment.

Proverb 21:13 says “Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need.” (NLT)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

It is very important to use wisdom when you are in a heated conversation with someone, are disagreeing with someone or even upset with someone in the way that they respond to you. Even though you may be upset or disagree with the other person, you must not allow the individual to pull you out of your character in the way which you respond to them. The best and wisest way is to either not respond at all by being quiet, or either respond in a loving and gentle way to bring peace into the conversation.

Proverbs 15:1-2 says “A gentle answer will calm a person’s anger, but an unkind answer will cause more anger. Wise people use knowledge when they speak, but fools pour out foolishness.” (NCV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

When a person pours and deposits into the life of others; as well as teach, impact, empower and positively influence other people, it is because they care and want the best for those individuals. In life, lessons are taught in order that we may grow, mature, become wise, as well as knowledgeable. Because God desires that no one be ignorant, a person should value and take to heart when someone is sent into their life to help them because the other person’s purpose is to push other people further down the road, so that a person not become stagnant, stunted, stuck nor still.

Proverbs 13:13-14 says “Those who reject what they are taught will pay for it, but those who obey what they are told will be rewarded. The teaching of a wise person gives life. It is like a fountain that can save people from death.” (NCV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

God does not want people to worry because worry is not of Him. Worry does nothing but add extra weight on a person’s heart which can also lead to other problems. Whenever a person finds themself taking on the spirit of worry, they should immediately start thinking about the goodness of God by reflecting on things that God has done for them in the past; such as ways He has made, doors He has opened, as well as the times that God has provided for and protected them. The same God He has been in other situations is the same God He is in any situation. Worry is not the solution for any problem; trusting God is what leads to the answer. Because you never know what another person may be going through, you should always speak kind, positive and encouraging words into the life of others; your words may be the very thing that give strength to a person, as well as keep them going.

Proverb 12:25 says “Worry makes a man’s heart heavy. But a kind word cheers him up.” (NIRV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Everything that we give to others should add to their life, and not take away. Even the words in which we speak into the life of others should always be positive, affirming and assuring. Every word we release into the atmosphere and environment should be productive. The words we speak should always be words that help, heal or build others up, and not hurt, kill, destroy or tear others down.

Proverb 12:18 says “Speak without thinking, and your words can cut like a knife. Be wise, and your words can heal.” (ERV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Sometimes, other people may intentionally insult or offend you just to see if they can get you to respond or react. Even though the insult or offense may hurt you; sometimes it is best to ignore the person, the insult or offense and allow God to deal with the person. Trying to defend yourself can make the situation worse, and can also cause you to act out of character, and no one is worth pulling you out of your character. Even in the midst of hurt and pain, sometimes your response must be to stand still, be quiet and allow God to fight for you.

Proverb 12:16 says “A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” (NLT)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Sometimes, a person may feel as if the things they do for others is in vain, as if others may not always appreciate them or the things the person may do or the deed that was done. As long as a person does things with a pure heart and the right motive, God will bless the person, and the good and positive deed that a person may do. The same goes for when a person may feel as if others may not receive their correction or words of love and encouragement, but for every positive life producing word spoken into the life of others, a person will be rewarded.

Proverb 12:14 says “People will be rewarded for what they say, and they will also be rewarded for what they do.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.
