There Is An Opportunity For Everyone To Get It Right

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Because no one is perfect and everyone in life has been guilty of doing wrong in some kind of way at one time or another, everyone can have the same opportunity of doing what is right, as well as having a fresh start within their own personal individual life compared to any other person. It is as simple as a person humbling themself. A person who is humble will be open and receptive to listen and learn, and can be taught what to do and what not to do.

Psalms 25:8-10 says “The Lord is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them His way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.” (NLT)

God Does Not Assign People To Judge

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

No one has the right to judge another person for the the things a person may do or say because no one wants anyone to judge them for anything they may do or say at anytime. It does not matter how much an individual may disagree or dislike about something they may see or hear that another person does or says; God is the only one that has the right to judge anyone, no matter who the person may be or what the person has done or said. When we see or hear something about other people that we may dislike or totally disagree with or we know that the person may even be guilty of that have done wrong, God does not want us to start looking down on the person and to feel as if we can start judging the person; instead God wants us to pray for the person and allow Him to be the judge in the situation.

James 4:12 says “God is the only lawgiver and judge. He alone can save and destroy. Who do you think you are, to judge someone else?” (GNT)

Wisdom Will Represent A Person’s Lifestyle

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person’s life speaks for itself by the way a person carries and represents themself. A person does not have to walk around carrying a sign announcing who they are nor do they have to make it a point of proving to others what their status, title or position is in life. All a person needs to do is just simply be themself by living right, and doing right and honest things, and it will cause other people to know who the person really is because what is on the inside of a person will actually show up on the outside of the person.

James 3:13-15 says “Are there any among you who are really wise and understanding? Then you should show your wisdom by living right. You should do what is good with humility. A wise person does not boast. If you are selfish and have bitter jealousy in your hearts, you have no reason to boast. Your boasting is a lie that hides the truth. That kind of “wisdom” does not come from God. That “wisdom” comes from the world. It is not spiritual. It is from the devil.” (ERV)

Wholesome Words Should Only Be Spoken

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Some people think they can do anything they want, and it is ok but that is not true. Likewise, it is the same thing when some people speak. Some people think they can say anything they want and it is ok, but that is not true. The words that come out of a person’s mouth should be clean, pure and respectful to others, and most of all pleasing to God. Some people think it is ok to pray, praise and worship God one minute and then the next minute, they think it is ok to curse at someone or even use curse words in their conversation. That is a complete disrespect and unacceptable. Every word that comes out of a person’s mouth should be a word that a person would not be ashamed of and a word that a person should be able to repeat.

James 3:9-12 says “With our tongues we both bless the Lord and Father and curse human beings made in God’s likeness. Blessing and cursing come from the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, it just shouldn’t be this way! Both fresh water and salt water don’t come from the same spring, do they? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree produce olives? Can a grapevine produce figs? Of course not, and fresh water doesn’t flow from a saltwater spring either.”

Wisdom Is Available For Everyone Who Asks For It

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

In order to make it through life successfully, wisdom is needed. The only way that a person can obtain wisdom is through God because only God can give a person wisdom. God desires that everyone has wisdom, although God also knows that there are some individuals who may lack wisdom. Because God desires that no one is foolish, the heart of God is that a person who lacks wisdom will ask Him for wisdom, and will then receive it by faith by trusting and believing and not doubting, and will begin to operate in wisdom in each area of their life.

James 1:5-8 says “If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you. God gives freely to everyone. He doesn’t find fault. But when you ask, you must believe. You must not doubt. People who doubt are like waves of the sea. The wind blows and tosses them around. A man like that shouldn’t expect to receive anything from the Lord. He can’t make up his mind. He can never decide what to do.” (NIRV)

God Does Not Do Incomplete Work

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There are some people in life who always start out doing things, but never seem to finish or complete what they attempt or start out doing. Sometimes, it is just a matter of being patient depending on what they are doing and realizing that everything takes time, and some things cannot be rushed before they are completed. God will never give a person an assignment that He knows they cannot complete because God never starts anything without completing it.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says “It is better to finish something than to start it. It is better to be patient than to be proud.” (NCV)

God Is The Only True And Real Promise Keeper

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Wisdom should always be used in communicating, even with God. A person should always think, even before they release words unto God in prayer. You never want to say anything that you will regret, such as making promises to God. Whenever a person makes a promise to God; God expects the person to do as they said. It is better for a person not to make a vow or promise than to make a vow or promise anything to God, and then not do as they said they would. God never goes back on His word to people and God wants and deserve the same respect in return.

Ecclesiastes 5:2&4-5 says “Don’t be too quick to speak. Don’t be in a hurry to say anything to God. He is in heaven. You are on earth. So use only a few words when you speak. When you make a promise to God, don’t wait too long to carry it out. He isn’t pleased with foolish people. So do what you have promised. It is better to make no promise at all than to make a promise and not keep it.” (NIRV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Wear Your Welcome Out

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There is a limit to everything. Too much of anything is not good for anyone, and that also includes visitation. Wisdom should be used in friendships and all relationships. You never want to get to the point in which you wear a relationship out within your life. Just because a person opens their door and extends an invitation does not mean you should walk to and through the door every time you see the door open and just because a person may not say anything does not mean the person gladly welcomes or receives you each time you may show up. Showing up one too many times can actually sometimes push a person away from you, to the point in which a person may  want to see less of you than more of you.

Proverb 25:17 says “And when you find a friend, don’t outwear your welcome; show up at all hours and he’ll soon get fed up.” (The MSG Bible)

Obedience Is Always Better Than Sacrifice

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Obedience is always better than sacrifice. God always honors people for their obedience to Him. Whenever people obey God by not giving in to temptation, wrongdoing or things that will satisfy or please the person instead of satisfying and pleasing God, it shows that a person trusts God to keep them from doing wrong. God does not honor and bless wrong, but God does make a person pay for their acts of wrong. Because God loves right, He will always bless a person for doing the right thing, even if the person is tempted by the wrong things.

Proverb 21:3 & 8 says “Doing what is right and fair is more important to the Lord than sacrifices. Guilty people live dishonest lives, but honest people do right.” (NCV)

You Should Never Make A Promise To God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person should never be too quick to make a promise to God because the person will be tested eventually on the promise, and may end up failing the test. Once a promise is made, it cannot be taken back so it is better not to make a promise due to how you may be feeling at a particular moment.

Proverb 20:25 says “It’s dangerous to promise something to God too quickly. After you’ve thought about it, it may be too late.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.
