God Does Not Do Incomplete Work

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There are some people in life who always start out doing things, but never seem to finish or complete what they attempt or start out doing. Sometimes, it is just a matter of being patient depending on what they are doing and realizing that everything takes time, and some things cannot be rushed before they are completed. God will never give a person an assignment that He knows they cannot complete because God never starts anything without completing it.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says “It is better to finish something than to start it. It is better to be patient than to be proud.” (NCV)

God Is The Only True And Real Promise Keeper

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Wisdom should always be used in communicating, even with God. A person should always think, even before they release words unto God in prayer. You never want to say anything that you will regret, such as making promises to God. Whenever a person makes a promise to God; God expects the person to do as they said. It is better for a person not to make a vow or promise than to make a vow or promise anything to God, and then not do as they said they would. God never goes back on His word to people and God wants and deserve the same respect in return.

Ecclesiastes 5:2&4-5 says “Don’t be too quick to speak. Don’t be in a hurry to say anything to God. He is in heaven. You are on earth. So use only a few words when you speak. When you make a promise to God, don’t wait too long to carry it out. He isn’t pleased with foolish people. So do what you have promised. It is better to make no promise at all than to make a promise and not keep it.” (NIRV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Wear Your Welcome Out

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There is a limit to everything. Too much of anything is not good for anyone, and that also includes visitation. Wisdom should be used in friendships and all relationships. You never want to get to the point in which you wear a relationship out within your life. Just because a person opens their door and extends an invitation does not mean you should walk to and through the door every time you see the door open and just because a person may not say anything does not mean the person gladly welcomes or receives you each time you may show up. Showing up one too many times can actually sometimes push a person away from you, to the point in which a person may  want to see less of you than more of you.

Proverb 25:17 says “And when you find a friend, don’t outwear your welcome; show up at all hours and he’ll soon get fed up.” (The MSG Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Obedience Is Always Better Than Sacrifice

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Obedience is always better than sacrifice. God always honors people for their obedience to Him. Whenever people obey God by not giving in to temptation, wrongdoing or things that will satisfy or please the person instead of satisfying and pleasing God, it shows that a person trusts God to keep them from doing wrong. God does not honor and bless wrong, but God does make a person pay for their acts of wrong. Because God loves right, He will always bless a person for doing the right thing, even if the person is tempted by the wrong things.

Proverb 21:3 & 8 says “Doing what is right and fair is more important to the Lord than sacrifices. Guilty people live dishonest lives, but honest people do right.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Should Never Make A Promise To God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person should never be too quick to make a promise to God because the person will be tested eventually on the promise, and may end up failing the test. Once a promise is made, it cannot be taken back so it is better not to make a promise due to how you may be feeling at a particular moment.

Proverb 20:25 says “It’s dangerous to promise something to God too quickly. After you’ve thought about it, it may be too late.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person who listens and learns from a warning is a very wise person. They make things easy on themself by learning from the mistakes of others, in order to keep themself out of trouble, as well as to save themself from misery, heartache and pain. A person who will not listen nor take heed to instructions and warnings only sets themself up for trouble, along with pain. A warning will always come before destruction.

Proverb 17:10 says “A wise person will learn more from a warning than a fool will learn from a hundred lashings.” (NCV)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When a person’s life is pleasing to God; God will position Himself to hear each and every one of the person’s prayers. God will keep His ears open to listen to the requests and cries of the person so that He may meet the needs and desires of the person. When a person is disobedient and does not please God, the individual will not be able to get God’s attention because God will close His ears to the person, not hearing anything the person has to say. The only prayer God wants to hear from a disobedient person is a prayer of repentance.

Proverb 15:29 says “The Lord does not listen to the wicked, but He hears the prayers of those who do right.” (NCV)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Everything a person does is known because God sees, hears and knows everything. Nothing can, nor will it ever get past or hidden from God because God is all-knowing. God sees, hears and knows the good, as well as the bad and God knows about all of a person’s rights, as well as their wrongs. Even before a person thinks a thought, says a word or does a deed, God already knows.

Proverbs 15:3 & 11 says “The Lord sees what happens everywhere. He watches everyone, good and evil. The Lord knows everything, even what happens in the place of death. So surely He knows what people are thinking.” (ERV)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

It is very important to use wisdom when you are in a heated conversation with someone, are disagreeing with someone or even upset with someone in the way that they respond to you. Even though you may be upset or disagree with the other person, you must not allow the individual to pull you out of your character in the way which you respond to them. The best and wisest way is to either not respond at all by being quiet, or either respond in a loving and gentle way to bring peace into the conversation.

Proverbs 15:1-2 says “A gentle answer will calm a person’s anger, but an unkind answer will cause more anger. Wise people use knowledge when they speak, but fools pour out foolishness.” (NCV)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

If a person is not open and receptive to learn, they will not be knowledgeable of the things that are, and have been taught to them, no matter how many times someone has been, and is willing to teach them. Everyone plays the role of a student at some time or another in their life. Just because a person may go to school does not mean the person is there to learn. If a person’s mind is closed, they will never know or understand anything that has been taught to them, no matter how many times the person may step into a classroom.

Proverb 14:18 says “Fools are rewarded with more foolishness. Smart people are rewarded with knowledge.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged
