A Person Can Do Wrong For So Long

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Most people who do dishonest, unethical and unlawful things see no wrong in the things they do because most of the time, they will do wrong for so long before they are eventually caught and brought to justice. People who do not agree with the individual’s wrongdoing will sometimes get upset because they cannot understand why it may take so long before the person is caught and brought to justice but God always has a reason, purpose and plan for everything He allows, even when people do wrong for extended periods of time. God will give a person time and space to stop doing wrong, so a person can make things right. When a person refuses to make their wrongs right, God will then take it upon Himself to stop the individual and will take matters into His own hands. God will not only stop the person from doing wrong, but God will also allow other people to see or hear about how He will allow the person to be brought to justice and open shame. Even at times when it may seem like a person may be getting away with wrong, God is always behind the scenes working to show that His hand is bigger than the person’s hand. There is no hand that can outdo the hand of God. Therefore, no one ever gets away with anything,

Proverbs 21:15 & 30 says “A decision that is fair makes good people happy, but it makes those who are evil very afraid. There is no one wise enough to make a plan that can succeed if the Lord is against it.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

God does not want people to worry because worry is not of Him. Worry does nothing but add extra weight on a person’s heart which can also lead to other problems. Whenever a person finds themself taking on the spirit of worry, they should immediately start thinking about the goodness of God by reflecting on things that God has done for them in the past; such as ways He has made, doors He has opened, as well as the times that God has provided for and protected them. The same God He has been in other situations is the same God He is in any situation. Worry is not the solution for any problem; trusting God is what leads to the answer. Because you never know what another person may be going through, you should always speak kind, positive and encouraging words into the life of others; your words may be the very thing that give strength to a person, as well as keep them going.

Proverb 12:25 says “Worry makes a man’s heart heavy. But a kind word cheers him up.” (NIRV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

A person who tells lies will not get far in life; they as well as their lies will soon be exposed. Whenever a person tells a lie, they like to keep the lie spreading like a virus to try their best to contaminate and poison other people. Because God is truth; He hates lies, as well as liars and God always has a way of causing truth to outweigh any and every lie. A lie can only go so far, but truth will stand forever.

Proverbs 12:19, 20 & 22 says “Lies last only a moment, but the truth lasts forever. People who work for evil make trouble, but those who plan for peace bring happiness. The Lord hates people who tell lies, but He is pleased with those who tell the truth.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Sometimes, a person may feel as if the things they do for others is in vain, as if others may not always appreciate them or the things the person may do or the deed that was done. As long as a person does things with a pure heart and the right motive, God will bless the person, and the good and positive deed that a person may do. The same goes for when a person may feel as if others may not receive their correction or words of love and encouragement, but for every positive life producing word spoken into the life of others, a person will be rewarded.

Proverb 12:14 says “People will be rewarded for what they say, and they will also be rewarded for what they do.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

Notes

1) Acceptance – l am accepted by God.

2) Belief – l am a believer.

3) Confession – my confession  will not waiver.

4) Our need to perform is driven by our desire to be accepted.

5) l am going to rest in God this year.

6) Not resting in God will cause you to be an unbeliever.

7) Everyone wants to be accepted.

8) Our greatest fears are always centered around and rooted in issues of failure and rejection.

9) Sometimes, you have to understand that you will not understand.

10) Man’s nature is to cover up.

11) God can still see a person’s nakedness with clothes on.

12) Just as Jesus saved man as an adult, He could have saved man while He was an infant because He had just as much power, even as a child.

13) Mercy is not for the innocent; it is for those who are guilty.

14) God has to teach man how to trust Him while in the process of tracing Him.

15) Sometimes, in order for God to get you where He is trying to take you, He has to cut some pieces of your life out.

16) Every time God is trying to take you to another level, He puts something under you.

17) Whenever God tells you to do something, it will always exceed your ability.

18) People want the promise, and not the process.

19) If God said it, He does not need any help.

20) God will allow your mess to be a testimony of your miracle.

21) The promise, once secured will always be tested in order to see whether you love the promise more than the promise keeper.

22) You will know that you are in the right place when God gets ready to separate you from people.

23) You are not responsible for the provision; just for the sacrifice.

24) Whenever God is silent, it is because you are going in the right direction.

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when your heart will become very heavy and you may even find yourself weeping because of people who are rebellious and disobedient. So that you may be able to maintain your peace, the thing for you to do is pray for these individuals, and not try to change them. God is the only one who can change the heart of a person, and God has His own set time to make the change. You must also remember that God’s time is never going to be at your time nor should you expect God to change an individual the way you think that He should. Just as God has His own set time, He also has His own way of changing a person’s heart.

Psalms 119:136, 165 & 166 says “Tears stream from my eyes, because people do not obey your teachings. Those who love your teachings will find true peace, and nothing will defeat them. I am waiting for you to save me, Lord. I will obey your commands.” (NCV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Maturity and wisdom will cause a person to look at their life, and realize that they cannot make it without God. When a person really begins to focus on trying to do the right things, the individual will want everything in their life to come into complete alignment; the people, places and things.

Psalms 119:59, 67 & 71 says “I thought about my life, and I decided to follow your rules. Before I suffered, I did wrong, but now I obey your word. It was good for me to suffer so I would learn your demands.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

When you put your trust in God, you can rest and be at peace because God will take care of you and He will also take care of everything that concerns you. There is no need for you to worry about anything at anytime because God has everything under control.

Psalm 116:7 says “I said to myself, “Relax, because the Lord takes care of you.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

The “F” Word: Walking In Divine Forgiveness

Notes from this morning’s message

Date: March 5, 2017

Speaker: Bishop Sherman C. Gee Allen

Scripture References: Psalms 103:8-12, Isaiah 38:17, Micah 7:19, Matthew 6:14-15, Romans 3:21-25, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Colossians 2:13-15, James 5:15-16 & Revelation 12:10-11

Notes

1) We are most like God when we walk in forgiveness.

2) Theological Forgiveness is God’s forgiveness of us.

3) Propitiation is the effect of forgiveness on God; sin offering to change God’s mind from wrath to favor and acceptance; the sacrifice made for sin.

4) You must choose to forgive.

5) God does not give us what we deserve.

6) Expiation is the effect of forgiveness; not on God, but on sin itself; covering; blotting out.

7) Atonement is reconciliation; bringing man back to God.

8) Social Forgiveness is our forgiveness of others.

9) Personal Forgiveness is our forgiveness of ourselves.

10) Unforgiveness makes you forever the victim of the past.

11) Until you forgive the person who hurt, wounded or violated you; you are forever tied to them.

12) One of the blessings of forgiveness is, it qualifies you to be forgiven.

13) One of the hardest parts of being a Christian is walking in forgiveness because we feel as if people do not deserve it.

14) Forgiveness is predicated upon love.

15) You must love the unlovable.

16) When you choose not to forgive, you will remember what the person did.

17) Forgiveness is not easy work.

18) As long as you are focusing on the pain, you will never forgive.

19) Unforgiveness is a lack of faith.

20) Unforgiveness makes a person feel as if they can protect themselves.

21) Forgiveness is not saying “It did not hurt; it is saying, it does not matter.”

22) God forgives us, not because we deserve it but because He loves us.

23) In God, all sins are the same but man judges sins on different levels.

24) People justify their unforgiveness according to the way they have been hurt, not realizing how much they have hurt God.

25) Everyone is an “ex” something.

26) When you fail to forgive, you give memories power.

27) When you forgive, it breaks soul ties.

28) God will allow people to hurt you in order to test your maturity.

29) You can be blessed, and still be wrong.

30) You have not forgiven when you have no compassion.

31) Maturity is not based upon what you do at church, it is based upon your heart.

32) Forgiveness is emotional detachment from the source of the pain.

33) Until you deal with the “F” word, your heart is still wrong.

Encouragement for March 1, 2017

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when individuals you have prayed for, those you love, people you are connected to through assignments or relationships will turn or come against you. Sometimes, it may not be for any specific reason, at all. Whenever this type of situation may arise, the thing for you to do is never try to take matters into your own hands by trying to defend yourself. Always, put the situations and individuals in the Hands of God, and allow Him to deal with those situations and individuals, no matter who or what they may be. God can handle anything and anyone better than you can. Sometimes, you must step completely back and allow God to step all the way into a situation, even if you have been hurt or disrespected, just so that God can fix the situation for you, as well as reveal to those who has caused the problems that He was the one working on your behalf.

Psalms 109:2-5 & 26-27 says “Wicked people and liars have spoken against me; they have told lies about me. They have said hateful things about me and attack me for no reason. They attacked me, even though I loved them and prayed for them. I was good to them, but they repay me with evil. I loved them, but they hate me in return. Lord my God, help me; because you are loving, save me. Then they will know that your power has done this; they will know that you have done it, Lord.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.
