Sometimes, You Have To Be The Bigger Person

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There may be times when you may find yourself in a conversation with someone, in which the conversation may seem like it is turning in a wrong direction. Before things get too out of control, sometimes you may have to be the bigger person and simply walk away. It may not be easy, but it could easily save you much more heartache and pain.

Proverb 17:14 says “Starting a quarrel is like opening a floodgate, so stop before the argument gets out of control.” (GW)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Money Cannot Buy You Peace

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person can have all of the money in the world, and still not be happy. There are some things that money cannot and will not be able to pay for in life, and there are some situations and problems that may arise in a person’s life that money will not be able to resolve. Money can only do so much, but God can do everything and anything a person may need in their life.

Proverb 15:16 says “A simple life in the Fear-of-God is better than a rich life with a ton of headaches.” (MSG)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Everyone Stands In Need Of Help

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

God blesses people, not just for themselves but so they can also be a blessing to others, as well. God desires that when we see others who may be in need, and we can help meet the need to be of assistance, and not turn our backs and walk away. No one should ever think they could be exempt from being in the place of being in a position of not needing the help or assistance of others, at any time.

Proverbs 3: 27-28 says “Do everything you possibly can for those who need help. If your neighbor needs something you have, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow.” Give it to him immediately.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Who Do You Put Your Trust In

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Whenever a person puts trust in themself, it should be no surprise when their plans are not successful, and do not go as the person had planned. Putting all your trust in God will make your plans successful because God will always lead, guide and direct you in the right direction by strategically ordering each of your steps; not one of your steps will ever be unaccounted for. You cannot go wrong with God; in the end, you will win and come out on top every time. You will be right where God knows you are supposed to be and what you are supposed to be doing at the exact moment as God has planned for your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.” (The MSG Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Don’t Get Stuck In The Past

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Sometimes, in order to move forward in life, you must completely detach yourself from your past. Some people are so connected to the things of the past until they become a slave to their past, even in their mind. God has so much more for people, but a person will never be able to embrace the new things God has if they are bound to their past. God never wants people to get stuck in a place nor does God want people to be hindered by anything or anyone. A person should never get so consumed with anything that they cannot let it go; whether it be mentally or physically. Some things, God does not even want us wasting our time thinking about because they are nothing but a distraction, and God wants us to be able to focus on the new things that He is doing in our life.

Isaiah 43:18-19 says “The Lord says, “Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past. Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it?” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God’s Voice Is The Real Voice

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when everyone will need a word from God in regards to situations or circumstances that may be going on within their life. People will have questions, doubts, concerns, want confirmations or even answers to their prayers. In order to hear from God, a person must be familiar and know the voice of God. A person who does not know the voice of God can be easily led astray by other voices that will tell the person anything that the person may desire to hear, even knowing that some of the things spoken may not even be true. Voices that are not of God are nothing but a trap designed by the enemy to confuse, distract and deceive a person. God is the only one that can, and will reveal and speak truth every time to a person, because He is the only one that knows everything about a person and their situation, at all times.

Isaiah 8:19-20 says “Some people say, “Ask the mediums and fortune-tellers, who whisper and mutter, what to do.” But I tell you that people should ask their God for help. Why should people who are still alive ask something from the dead? You should follow the teachings and the agreement with the Lord. The mediums and fortune-tellers do not speak the word of the Lord, so their words are worth nothing.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Are Safe With God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When you put your trust in God, you do not have to fear anything nor anyone at anytime. Trust in God assures you personal protection, as well as keeps you hidden in a safe place in God. Being afraid of people can actually cause you to bring harm upon yourself because it can have you so on edge and uneasy to the point of being so nervous and worried until you can make yourself sick which can also lead to other problems. Worry and nervousness can cause a person to become unfocused and cause them to drift away from God, rather than move closer to God. Because God loves His children so much, He desires to see them protected at all times.

Proverb 29:25 says “Being afraid of people can get you into trouble, but if you trust the Lord, you will be safe.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Is In The Blessing Business

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person who is honest and has integrity will be blessed and successful with a favorable life. The Hand of God will rest upon the person’s life by connecting the person to the right people so the right doors may open on their behalf. These individuals are the ones who know that if they are patient and wait on God, their blessings are worth the wait. A person who is dishonest normally does not wait on God or anyone else; they will normally do whatever it takes to get the things they want so they can have things quickly and immediately. That is why these individuals are not blessed because getting things other than through God is not considered a blessing, and God does not bless mess.

Proverb 28:20 says “A truthful person will have many blessings, but those eager to get rich will be punished.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Wear Your Welcome Out

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There is a limit to everything. Too much of anything is not good for anyone, and that also includes visitation. Wisdom should be used in friendships and all relationships. You never want to get to the point in which you wear a relationship out within your life. Just because a person opens their door and extends an invitation does not mean you should walk to and through the door every time you see the door open and just because a person may not say anything does not mean the person gladly welcomes or receives you each time you may show up. Showing up one too many times can actually sometimes push a person away from you, to the point in which a person may  want to see less of you than more of you.

Proverb 25:17 says “And when you find a friend, don’t outwear your welcome; show up at all hours and he’ll soon get fed up.” (The MSG Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Let God Deal With Others On Your Behalf

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Whenever someone intentionally does things to you that are not right, the best thing to do is to tell God all about the person and what the person has done. Even though God already knows, He also knows that you may be hurt or upset. The best and wisest thing you can do is allow God to deal with the person instead of you trying to deal with the person on your own. Even though you may start out hurting; in the end, the person who caused you to hurt will end up hurting the most because whenever God deals with someone who has intentionally hurt or done you wrong, God has a way of making things just right for you, even to the point that the other person will regret that they did you wrong.

Proverb 20:22 says “Don’t take it on yourself to repay a wrong. Trust the Lord and He will make it right.” (GNT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.
