You Are Safe With God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When you put your trust in God, you do not have to fear anything nor anyone at anytime. Trust in God assures you personal protection, as well as keeps you hidden in a safe place in God. Being afraid of people can actually cause you to bring harm upon yourself because it can have you so on edge and uneasy to the point of being so nervous and worried until you can make yourself sick which can also lead to other problems. Worry and nervousness can cause a person to become unfocused and cause them to drift away from God, rather than move closer to God. Because God loves His children so much, He desires to see them protected at all times.

Proverb 29:25 says “Being afraid of people can get you into trouble, but if you trust the Lord, you will be safe.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Have A Role To Play

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

God connects people in the lives of others for many reasons and also in different seasons. The reason is never about us and we never know when the season may suddenly change. The reason in which God does things is always much larger than what we can see, so that is why we should always be open and receptive to what God allows in each season of our life because God is always behind the scenes orchestrating by moving things around and bringing people together so that He may get the glory, as well as be glorified even though we may not be able to see what God is doing. God will make sure that everyone has a role to play, and no one is left out and so it is with a puzzle; there is a place for each piece to properly fit. You do not have to force puzzle pieces to connect together because once you figure out where each piece belongs, they will all connect smoothly and properly, and when the final puzzle piece is inserted, you will end up with a beautiful picture allowing you to be able to see the many details and structures that you could not see while God was strategically working behind the scenes. Always, remember you never have to force anything to make it work or come together. If one thing does not work; maybe that is not the right piece or person that was supposed to be a part of your life or journey at that particular time or season, or even in your life altogether. Instead of trying to force something to happen in your life, go back and pray about it and allow God to show you so that you will not get frustrated by trying to make something work that may not be of God. All things and everything of God have a way of coming together smoothly without having to be forced into place.

Romans 12:4-10 says “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” (NLT)

What Difference Are You Making In Someone Else’s Life

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

People are placed in the lives of others for the benefit of being a helper in one way or another. There are many purposes a person can serve in the life of others. In making a difference in the life of others, you should be impacting, empowering, as well as being a positive influence so that each person you come into contact with, you are not only helping but you are also teaching and equipping the person to be better, so they can be more productive in life.

Proverb 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so people can improve each other.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Have An Ear To Hear Wise Counsel

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

In life, there will come a time when everyone will need the advice or wise counsel from someone in which they can trust. Depending on the season you may be in at the particular moment, the situation or circumstance that you may be facing at the particular time or whatever the challenge may be at the given moment; God will always make sure that the right people are in place to assist, guide, direct and speak life into you regarding what you may be facing, dealing with or going through so that you may be able to see the good in the bad; so that you can make wiser and better choices and decisions, and also to be able to help you to see things from a different angle than the way you had previously viewed them, so that you may get a different perspective on the situation that you may had never thought of before.

Proverb 27:9 says “The sweet smell of perfume and oils is pleasant, and so is good advice from a friend.”

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Wear Your Welcome Out

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There is a limit to everything. Too much of anything is not good for anyone, and that also includes visitation. Wisdom should be used in friendships and all relationships. You never want to get to the point in which you wear a relationship out within your life. Just because a person opens their door and extends an invitation does not mean you should walk to and through the door every time you see the door open and just because a person may not say anything does not mean the person gladly welcomes or receives you each time you may show up. Showing up one too many times can actually sometimes push a person away from you, to the point in which a person may  want to see less of you than more of you.

Proverb 25:17 says “And when you find a friend, don’t outwear your welcome; show up at all hours and he’ll soon get fed up.” (The MSG Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Help Is Available For Everyone

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when God will place people in your life who will need help; the need could be great or it could be small. Whatever the need may be, God will specifically assign the person to you just to see if you are going to help the person or if you are going to reject the person. God will never assign a person to your life if He knew you could not help, assist or meet the need of the individual. Today, it may be someone else who may be in need, but tomorrow it could easily be you. You should never think that you will not need the help of others or never be so close-minded by only going to certain people when you have a need. Neither should you try to choose only certain people to help by picking and choosing who you want to help because God can easily rearrange things, as well as remove things and people in and out of your life to show you that it is not about you or what you may have. When God connects people together, even for the purpose of helping or assisting, God has a reason for it and for everyone involved. God desires that no one miss their moment.

Proverb 21:13 says “Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need.” (NLT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Will Reveal Who You Can Trust

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Good, honest, loyal, dependable and trustworthy people are hard to come across in life. That is why it is very important to never take anyone for granted when God brings a person into your life. When a person’s heart and motives are pure and right, they will treat you right and you will not have to question nor doubt who the person really is. God only brings people into the lives of others to help; not hurt, hinder nor hold back.

Proverb 20:6 says “Many people claim to be loyal, but it is hard to find a trustworthy person.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Encouragement for June 12, 2017

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When a person’s life is pleasing to God; God will position Himself to hear each and every one of the person’s prayers. God will keep His ears open to listen to the requests and cries of the person so that He may meet the needs and desires of the person. When a person is disobedient and does not please God, the individual will not be able to get God’s attention because God will close His ears to the person, not hearing anything the person has to say. The only prayer God wants to hear from a disobedient person is a prayer of repentance.

Proverb 15:29 says “The Lord does not listen to the wicked, but He hears the prayers of those who do right.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Encouragement for June 7, 2017

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

It is very important to use wisdom when you are in a heated conversation with someone, are disagreeing with someone or even upset with someone in the way that they respond to you. Even though you may be upset or disagree with the other person, you must not allow the individual to pull you out of your character in the way which you respond to them. The best and wisest way is to either not respond at all by being quiet, or either respond in a loving and gentle way to bring peace into the conversation.

Proverbs 15:1-2 says “A gentle answer will calm a person’s anger, but an unkind answer will cause more anger. Wise people use knowledge when they speak, but fools pour out foolishness.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

Encouragement for May 30, 2017

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

You must always be careful of the people that try to attach and connect themselves to you, especially if the individuals will do anything and everything, even if the things are wrong and can lead you to getting into trouble. There is some trouble a person cannot get out of, and a person who leads others down the wrong path cannot teach anyone anything.

Proverbs 14:7 & 9 says “Stay away from fools, because they can’t teach you anything. Fools don’t care if they sin, but honest people work at being right.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.
