You Are Safe With God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When you put your trust in God, you do not have to fear anything nor anyone at anytime. Trust in God assures you personal protection, as well as keeps you hidden in a safe place in God. Being afraid of people can actually cause you to bring harm upon yourself because it can have you so on edge and uneasy to the point of being so nervous and worried until you can make yourself sick which can also lead to other problems. Worry and nervousness can cause a person to become unfocused and cause them to drift away from God, rather than move closer to God. Because God loves His children so much, He desires to see them protected at all times.

Proverb 29:25 says “Being afraid of people can get you into trouble, but if you trust the Lord, you will be safe.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Knows What You Are Thinking

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Not only does God want people to have clean hearts and clean hands, God also wants people to have clean thoughts. Whenever a person decides to do something; whether it be right or wrong, it will always begin with a thought. Once a seed is planted in a person’s mind, it will cause their thoughts to take root. Once the thought is formed, it eventually grows in the person’s heart which then produces the things that lead to a person doing the things they will or will not do. God knows the reasons behind everything a person does; whether the motive is right or wrong because God always knows a person’s thoughts. Even if a person lies to themself or others, they cannot lie to God because God knows everything, and will judge all things a person thinks, says and does.

Proverb 20:27 says “The Lord looks deep inside people and searches through their thoughts.” (NCV)

Proverb 21:2 says “You may think that everything you do is right, but remember that the Lord judges your motives.” (GNT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Get Lost In Your Thoughts

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

At times, a person can become lost in their thoughts and can drift away from where they are. It is ok to think deep thoughts, as long as you remain focused and not become distracted. As long as you are focused, you will not get off track neither off course and you can see, as well as clearly understand the wisdom in what may have taken you away at the moment and your mind will also be open to receive new revelation on things that may be presented within the things you are thinking.

Proverb 20:5 says “People’s thoughts can be like a deep well, but someone with understanding can find the wisdom there.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Encouragement for June 8, 2017

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Everything a person does is known because God sees, hears and knows everything. Nothing can, nor will it ever get past or hidden from God because God is all-knowing. God sees, hears and knows the good, as well as the bad and God knows about all of a person’s rights, as well as their wrongs. Even before a person thinks a thought, says a word or does a deed, God already knows.

Proverbs 15:3 & 11 says “The Lord sees what happens everywhere. He watches everyone, good and evil. The Lord knows everything, even what happens in the place of death. So surely He knows what people are thinking.” (ERV)

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

If a person is not open and receptive to learn, they will not be knowledgeable of the things that are, and have been taught to them, no matter how many times someone has been, and is willing to teach them. Everyone plays the role of a student at some time or another in their life. Just because a person may go to school does not mean the person is there to learn. If a person’s mind is closed, they will never know or understand anything that has been taught to them, no matter how many times the person may step into a classroom.

Proverb 14:18 says “Fools are rewarded with more foolishness. Smart people are rewarded with knowledge.” (ERV)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

The things we think about are the things which our hearts will reveal to others. Daily, we should ask God to renew our minds, not just first thing in the morning but all throughout the day, so that our thoughts may be pleasing and acceptable to God; wholesome and pure. It is not just enough to renew your mind once a day because your mind is constantly at work all day long. In order to maintain a positive and healthy mindset, you should allow God to take control of your thoughts.

Proverb 4:23 says “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” (GNT)

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

Daily, we should be seeking to please God in every way. Each day in our lives should begin and end with a self-examination of asking God to reveal to us all of the things that He sees in our lives that are not pleasing and acceptable to Him, so that He may be able to step in and perform a spiritual surgery on our hearts and minds, in such a way to bring us to complete order and alignment with His perfect will for our lives so that we may be able to please Him in all of our ways.

Psalms 139:23-24 says “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” (NLT)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

Encouragement for February 2, 2017

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

God is the giver of life and only He can cause dead things to become resurrected and to live again. Whether it is physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or financial; God can cause life to be restored in the areas of your life that are trying to die and wither away. All that is required of you is to put your faith to work; it is needed to get the job done. Faith without works is dead. You must believe that God can and will do it, in spite of how helpless and hopeless the situation may be.

Psalms 71:20-21 says “You have given me many troubles and bad times, but you will give me life again. When I am almost dead, you will keep me alive. You will make me greater than ever, and you will comfort me again.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.

Encouragement for February 1, 2017

“A word of wisdom a day keeps distractions and foolishness away.”

When you find yourself going through situations and circumstances which seem to weigh you down, which cause you to lose rest, as well as have no peace in your mind; those are the times to completely trust God and release your concerns, problems and worries into the Hands of God. As you release everything unto God, you should be able to rest easier because the weight you have been carrying will become lighter. You should learn to leave all your problems and concerns with God, and do not go back and pick them up because that will only hinder you, causing you to become distracted and heavy hearted, as well as interferring in God’s process of working things out for you.

Psalms 62:5 & 8 says “I find rest in God; only He gives me hope. People, trust God all the time. Tell Him all your problems, because God is our protection.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged

and have a great day.
