God Is The Only True And Real Promise Keeper

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Wisdom should always be used in communicating, even with God. A person should always think, even before they release words unto God in prayer. You never want to say anything that you will regret, such as making promises to God. Whenever a person makes a promise to God; God expects the person to do as they said. It is better for a person not to make a vow or promise than to make a vow or promise anything to God, and then not do as they said they would. God never goes back on His word to people and God wants and deserve the same respect in return.

Ecclesiastes 5:2&4-5 says “Don’t be too quick to speak. Don’t be in a hurry to say anything to God. He is in heaven. You are on earth. So use only a few words when you speak. When you make a promise to God, don’t wait too long to carry it out. He isn’t pleased with foolish people. So do what you have promised. It is better to make no promise at all than to make a promise and not keep it.” (NIRV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do You Know What Season You Are In

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

In life, everything happens for a reason and everything has its own season. That is why it is so important to learn every lesson in each season so that you will not miss the blessing at the right season. Just like the seasons change in the natural; summer, spring, winter and fall. Likewise, you must be prepared for the seasons to change in your life, as well. Nothing lasts forever. The different seasons in our individual lives are our seasons of learning, maturing, growing up, becoming wiser, accountable and responsible. That is why it is so important to have the spirit of discernment to be able to discern and know when your season has changed, so that you may also be able to know what season you are in at each time in your life.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says “There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time. There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to pull up plants. There is a time to kill and a time to heal. There is a time to destroy and a time to build. There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. There is a time to be sad and a time to dance with joy. There is a time to throw weapons down and a time to pick them up. There is a time to hug someone and a time to stop holding so tightly. There is a time to look for something and a time to consider it lost. There is a time to keep things and a time to throw things away. There is a time to tear cloth and a time to sew it. There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. There is a time to love and a time to hate. There is a time for war and a time for peace.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Your Part

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Whenever we see people who are innocent and in helpless situations, and cannot defend themself; God expects us to come to their defense. It could be a child, the elderly, someone who is disabled or someone who is being hurt, abused or mistreated. However the situation may be or whoever the person may be, we should never stand back and allow someone to abuse, misuse, mishandle or mistreat someone that cannot defend or protect themself. God holds us accountable for doing the right thing. Sometimes, the right thing is simply making a report to someone that can change the person’s situation.

Proverbs 31:8-9 says “Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Help people who are in trouble. Stand up for what you know is right, and judge all people fairly. Protect the rights of the poor and those who need help.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God’s Word Speaks For Itself

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Every word of God is true and each word has clarity, power and authority within it. No one should ever add to nor should anyone ever take away from the word of God. Adding or taking away from the word of God can cause an individual to start questioning the authority of God, which is a complete disrespect to God. This, in turn can cause a person to start  operating in the spirit of pride and many other different spirits which are not of God. This is why people should never argue or debate about God or His word because God will, and can always prove Himself.

Proverbs 30:5-6 says ““Every word of God is true. He guards those who come to Him for safety. Do not add to His words, or He will correct you and prove you are a liar.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Are Safe With God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

When you put your trust in God, you do not have to fear anything nor anyone at anytime. Trust in God assures you personal protection, as well as keeps you hidden in a safe place in God. Being afraid of people can actually cause you to bring harm upon yourself because it can have you so on edge and uneasy to the point of being so nervous and worried until you can make yourself sick which can also lead to other problems. Worry and nervousness can cause a person to become unfocused and cause them to drift away from God, rather than move closer to God. Because God loves His children so much, He desires to see them protected at all times.

Proverb 29:25 says “Being afraid of people can get you into trouble, but if you trust the Lord, you will be safe.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

It Pays To Listen, As Well As Obey

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions & foolishness away.”

A warning will always come before destruction does, but if a person refuses to listen, obey or take heed to correction then the individual will eventually set themself up to be hurt or possibly destroyed. The sad and bad part is, sometimes the setup in which the person brings upon themself causes them not to be able to make a comeback. There are some people who just feel as if no one can correct them, and the more God sends people into their lives to try to warn the individuals of their wrong; the more stubborn, rebellious and hard-hearted the individuals will become. Wrong will never be right and right will never be wrong. Whenever God sends a warning, God always has a reason for it and warnings should always be taken very serious.

Proverb 29:1 says “A man who still won’t obey after being warned many times will suddenly be destroyed. Nothing can save him.” (NIRV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Uses Everyone To Be A Blessing In The Lives Of Others

”Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions & foolishness away.”

God blesses those who are a blessing to others. Where a person is today does not determine where the person will be on tomorrow. Today, it could very well be someone else in need of assistance from you in some kind of way, but tomorrow it could very well be you who may need the assistance of someone else. No one should ever think that they will be exempt from being in the place of needing a helping hand from others. Not receiving help whenever you are in need is a spirit of pride and also not giving help whenever you can is a spirit of pride and selfishness. Help may not always come through the person or people you may expect it to, but God will send it through the person or people through whom He chooses that He knows will get the job done. Whenever helping and receiving help from others, it does not always consist of giving money. There are many ways to give and assist someone who is in need. There are so many different ways in which God can use people to be a blessing in the life of others. We must be open and receptive to whatever God speaks to us to do in the lives of others, and we must also be ready, willing and available whenever God tells us to do something for someone, without excuse or hesitation.

Proverb 28:27 says “Whoever gives to the poor will have plenty. Whoever refuses to help them will get nothing but curses.” (ERV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Have A Role To Play

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

God connects people in the lives of others for many reasons and also in different seasons. The reason is never about us and we never know when the season may suddenly change. The reason in which God does things is always much larger than what we can see, so that is why we should always be open and receptive to what God allows in each season of our life because God is always behind the scenes orchestrating by moving things around and bringing people together so that He may get the glory, as well as be glorified even though we may not be able to see what God is doing. God will make sure that everyone has a role to play, and no one is left out and so it is with a puzzle; there is a place for each piece to properly fit. You do not have to force puzzle pieces to connect together because once you figure out where each piece belongs, they will all connect smoothly and properly, and when the final puzzle piece is inserted, you will end up with a beautiful picture allowing you to be able to see the many details and structures that you could not see while God was strategically working behind the scenes. Always, remember you never have to force anything to make it work or come together. If one thing does not work; maybe that is not the right piece or person that was supposed to be a part of your life or journey at that particular time or season, or even in your life altogether. Instead of trying to force something to happen in your life, go back and pray about it and allow God to show you so that you will not get frustrated by trying to make something work that may not be of God. All things and everything of God have a way of coming together smoothly without having to be forced into place.

Romans 12:4-10 says “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” (NLT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Are Smarter Than That

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person who trusts in themself usually will end up making unwise decisions and choices; sometimes their decisions and choices can even lead them to trouble or even danger because wisdom was not taken into consideration. Because God is wisdom, a person should always put their trust in God instead of themself. Even when God places people in our lives who have experienced and been through things, God desires that we learn from those individuals to keep from making some of the same mistakes those individuals may have made. Trust in God always leads to a positive outcome in any situation.

Proverb 28:26 says “Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.” (NIV)

Proverb 28:26 says “If you think you know it all, you’re a fool for sure; real survivors learn wisdom from others.” (MSG)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Is In The Blessing Business

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person who is honest and has integrity will be blessed and successful with a favorable life. The Hand of God will rest upon the person’s life by connecting the person to the right people so the right doors may open on their behalf. These individuals are the ones who know that if they are patient and wait on God, their blessings are worth the wait. A person who is dishonest normally does not wait on God or anyone else; they will normally do whatever it takes to get the things they want so they can have things quickly and immediately. That is why these individuals are not blessed because getting things other than through God is not considered a blessing, and God does not bless mess.

Proverb 28:20 says “A truthful person will have many blessings, but those eager to get rich will be punished.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.
