Have An Ear To Hear Wise Counsel

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

In life, there will come a time when everyone will need the advice or wise counsel from someone in which they can trust. Depending on the season you may be in at the particular moment, the situation or circumstance that you may be facing at the particular time or whatever the challenge may be at the given moment; God will always make sure that the right people are in place to assist, guide, direct and speak life into you regarding what you may be facing, dealing with or going through so that you may be able to see the good in the bad; so that you can make wiser and better choices and decisions, and also to be able to help you to see things from a different angle than the way you had previously viewed them, so that you may get a different perspective on the situation that you may had never thought of before.

Proverb 27:9 says “The sweet smell of perfume and oils is pleasant, and so is good advice from a friend.”

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Play The Role Of A Fool

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Whenever a foolish, unwise or ignorant comment or response is made or directed at you within a conversation, the proper way to respond is by not responding, at all . Even though you may want to respond, there is no need of you looking or sounding as foolish as the other person. Allow your silence to speak for you because even though you may be quiet, you are still relaying a message.

Proverbs 26:4-5 says “Don’t answer fools when they speak foolishly, or you will be just like them. Answer fools when they speak foolishly, or they will think they are really wise.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Do Not Wear Your Welcome Out

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There is a limit to everything. Too much of anything is not good for anyone, and that also includes visitation. Wisdom should be used in friendships and all relationships. You never want to get to the point in which you wear a relationship out within your life. Just because a person opens their door and extends an invitation does not mean you should walk to and through the door every time you see the door open and just because a person may not say anything does not mean the person gladly welcomes or receives you each time you may show up. Showing up one too many times can actually sometimes push a person away from you, to the point in which a person may  want to see less of you than more of you.

Proverb 25:17 says “And when you find a friend, don’t outwear your welcome; show up at all hours and he’ll soon get fed up.” (The MSG Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Don’t Cause God To Flip The  Script On You

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

You should never rejoice in your enemies downfall, no matter how much your enemy may have hurt or mistreated you. Rejoicing in your enemies’ downfalls can cause God to stop dealing with your enemies, and can cause God to start dealing with you. God does not ever want you to be ugly or rude to anyone else just because another person may have once been ugly or rude to you.

Proverbs 24:17-18 says “When your enemies fall, don’t rejoice. When they stumble, don’t let your heart be glad, or the Lord will see it and be displeased, and He will turn his anger from them.” (Common English Bible)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Your Mouth Can Save You From Trouble

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Wisdom should always be used in the words that a person release out of their mouth. Because there is power in the words you speak, you should be very careful of every word that you allow to go into the atmosphere and environment. Everything that you release out of your mouth, you can actually make it happen for yourself; whether it be good or bad, negative or positive. The safest and wisest thing to do is to always think before you speak.

Proverb 21:23 says “If you want to stay out of trouble, be careful what you say.” (GNT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Foolishness Can Lead To Death

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person should always think before doing things, especially if the things they are going to do are foolish because foolish, unwise things can cause harm or danger, and can even lead to death. Even when a warning goes out to a person and a person refuses to listen or obey, but the person chooses to do whatever it is they may want; wrong things are chosen over right, then the person will end up having to suffer the consequences whatever and however they may be.

Proverbs 21:16 & 29 says “Whoever does not use good sense will end up among the dead. Wicked people are stubborn, but good people think carefully about what they do.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Help Is Available For Everyone

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

There will be times when God will place people in your life who will need help; the need could be great or it could be small. Whatever the need may be, God will specifically assign the person to you just to see if you are going to help the person or if you are going to reject the person. God will never assign a person to your life if He knew you could not help, assist or meet the need of the individual. Today, it may be someone else who may be in need, but tomorrow it could easily be you. You should never think that you will not need the help of others or never be so close-minded by only going to certain people when you have a need. Neither should you try to choose only certain people to help by picking and choosing who you want to help because God can easily rearrange things, as well as remove things and people in and out of your life to show you that it is not about you or what you may have. When God connects people together, even for the purpose of helping or assisting, God has a reason for it and for everyone involved. God desires that no one miss their moment.

Proverb 21:13 says “Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need.” (NLT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

Obedience Is Always Better Than Sacrifice

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Obedience is always better than sacrifice. God always honors people for their obedience to Him. Whenever people obey God by not giving in to temptation, wrongdoing or things that will satisfy or please the person instead of satisfying and pleasing God, it shows that a person trusts God to keep them from doing wrong. God does not honor and bless wrong, but God does make a person pay for their acts of wrong. Because God loves right, He will always bless a person for doing the right thing, even if the person is tempted by the wrong things.

Proverb 21:3 & 8 says “Doing what is right and fair is more important to the Lord than sacrifices. Guilty people live dishonest lives, but honest people do right.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

God Knows What You Are Thinking

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

Not only does God want people to have clean hearts and clean hands, God also wants people to have clean thoughts. Whenever a person decides to do something; whether it be right or wrong, it will always begin with a thought. Once a seed is planted in a person’s mind, it will cause their thoughts to take root. Once the thought is formed, it eventually grows in the person’s heart which then produces the things that lead to a person doing the things they will or will not do. God knows the reasons behind everything a person does; whether the motive is right or wrong because God always knows a person’s thoughts. Even if a person lies to themself or others, they cannot lie to God because God knows everything, and will judge all things a person thinks, says and does.

Proverb 20:27 says “The Lord looks deep inside people and searches through their thoughts.” (NCV)

Proverb 21:2 says “You may think that everything you do is right, but remember that the Lord judges your motives.” (GNT)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.

You Should Never Make A Promise To God

“Applying wisdom to your life each day will help you keep distractions and foolishness away.”

A person should never be too quick to make a promise to God because the person will be tested eventually on the promise, and may end up failing the test. Once a promise is made, it cannot be taken back so it is better not to make a promise due to how you may be feeling at a particular moment.

Proverb 20:25 says “It’s dangerous to promise something to God too quickly. After you’ve thought about it, it may be too late.” (NCV)

Be blessed, be encouraged and have a great day.
